The Bet - Chapter 1

Hi All,
As I said previously, I’ve decided to start posting the story I’m writing now – even though I never finished the last story I started. The first few chapters will be posted complete, but after that, the individual chapters are so long that I’ll have to post them in sections.

PLEASE remember… this is just a story. It’s not real! It can’t really happen (I don’t think so anyway)! None of the characters are real or are even based on anyone that I know of. It all comes from my warped imagination.

As always, I welcome any comments you may have. In fact I love your comments – good or bad. But please keep in mind that I’m a few hundred pages of writing ahead of you already so I probably won’t be able to add any of your individual requests or ideas to the story – unless they can happen way down the line.

Before we begin, I also need to offer my special thanks to my friend and sometimes Mistress – Gina. She has offered so much inspiration and encouragement and just plain good ideas. Thanks so much Gina.

So without further ado, we find ourselves at the very beginning of another tale. Enjoy!
Karen

Chapter 1 (Saturday)

Chad pulled his car into one of the parking places as close to the stairs leading up to his new apartment as he could get. It had been a long day of moving. A sad day in many ways, but in other ways it represented a new freedom for him. His divorce from his wife would be final in another month. That alone saddened him greatly. But his wife - make that ex-wife - couldn’t live with his ever growing desires. Desires that weren’t in any way normal. It was his problem and he knew it, but he also knew that it was a problem he had no intention of ever getting rid of. The problem had finally cost him his marriage. Well, so be it.
As he pulled one of the large heavy plastic bags out of the back of his car filled with the last of his stuff, he heard a woman’s voice behind him. “Can I help you with that?” He turned and saw the woman who lived in the apartment next to his. The one he had pegged as being the “nosy neighbor.”
“Oh, that’s ok. I can get it,” he replied. “Thanks anyway.”
“Don’t be ridiculous. Here, let me help.” Before he could stop her, she had pulled two smaller bags out of his car and was leading the way up the stairs. He quickly pulled out a second heavy bag himself and began lugging them behind her, more often than not, struggling to keep them from scraping against the cement stairs too much.
She was waiting for him at his apartment door. He unlocked it and she carried her two bags inside ahead of him. She was obviously looking around carefully at everything. The apartment was a total mess, but what could she expect, he was still moving in. “Um… As you can see, the place isn’t quite presentable yet.” She just turned and gave him kind of a sly smile.
Unfortunately, that was when one of the heavy bags he was carrying ripped under the strain and the contents tumbled out all over the floor. An embarrassing assortment of items spilled out where she could see them: dresses, skirts, high heels, bras… diapers, plastic panties, and baby bottles. The small quick intake of her surprised breath let him know that she hadn’t missed a thing.
“Um… excuse me,” he said quickly as he knelt down, throwing what was left of the bag over the items, desperately but unsuccessfully trying to cover them all up. He couldn’t look up at her. He was too embarrassed.”
“Yours?” he heard her ask as he tried to cover it all.
He said nothing back. As efficiently as he could, he scooped things together and covered them with whatever he could find before he stood back up again. He had no doubt his face was very red as he took the two bags she had been holding and said, “Thank you.” Then to finally get her out of the way, he added, “Now, if you’ll please excuse me, I have a lot of work to do.”
“Oh, of course,” she said, still somewhat surprised. “Oh, by the way, my name’s Melissa… Mel.” She stuck her hand out to shake his, but his hands were both full from the bags she had just handed him.
“Chad,” he replied, still looking a bit uncomfortable about her being there.
Fortunately, she took the hint and left. Unfortunately, he could tell that she was still shocked by what she had seen. She was a nosy-neighbor, and now she had seen a little too much. Chad wished very hard just then that he could afford to move to someplace else right away.

Mel walked back to her apartment, still somewhat shocked. She had pegged him from the beginning as either a new divorcee or someone who was about to be divorced. Now, she wasn’t quite sure. In fact, after what she had seen fall out of that bag, she wasn’t sure about anything to do with him at all. She was a woman. It was her duty to herself to know about her neighbors. Did she need to be afraid of this guy? Was he a pervert? Now she wasn’t quite sure. If he was one of those strange guys who liked to wear dresses, then she didn’t really feel like she should be afraid of him. But you never really know. What she did know however, was that she was curious – very curious. And she was going to have to find out more. But after seeing all his “private” stuff, she was fairly convinced that he wasn’t going to be all that interested in seeing her again. She’d have to find someway though. Perhaps some kind of peace offering she thought. Yeah, that would be a good idea. Now what was it that guys seemed to like the most?

Chad spent the rest of the day sorting through boxes and deciding what to do with everything. The answer to most of it though was to leave it where it was. He had almost no furniture. Just one chair he had managed to rescue from storage that he wife didn’t want anymore. Not even a kitchen table or a bed to sleep in. Getting some furniture was something that was going to have to be a priority. He’d sleep on the floor tonight and start looking for some tomorrow.
Late in the afternoon, there was a knock on his door. When he answered it, there was his nosy neighbor – Mel, holding up a couple of six packs of beer. “Just great!” he thought to himself.
“Hi neighbor,” Mel said cheerily. “I brought you a house warming gift,” she added, holding up the beer. “I kind of thought you could probably use some about now.”
Chad recognized her peace offering and that she was trying to be polite… but… “Um, I don’t really drink,” he explained apologetically.
“Not at all?” she asked shocked.
“Well, not usually,” Chad replied.
“How about just to be nice?” Mel asked.
Chad nodded. He was a bit thirsty… and hungry now that he thought about it. Not that he had any food in the house either.
“Where’s your furniture?” Mel asked as she set one of the six packs down on his kitchen counter.
“I don’t have any yet.”
“None?”
“Nope. Uh… my wife and I are separated,” he explained. “We’re getting a divorce. This is all I have.”
“Oh, ok. I understand,” she replied as she pulled a bottle out of the container and handed it to him. She had been right the first time. Getting divorced.
“It’s cold,” he said somewhat surprised.
“It’s been chilling in my fridge all afternoon.”
She opened a bottle for herself and raised it towards him. “To being neighbors,” she toasted.
Chad wasn’t a drinker at all, so it only took half the first bottle before he was starting to feel the effects. Fortunately, Mel hadn’t mentioned the things she had seen fall out of the bag earlier. That was an event he really wanted to just forget.
But Mel hadn’t forgotten, she just hadn’t gotten around to asking him about it yet. She didn’t get around to it till they were both out getting a quick hamburger for dinner since he had no food or a table where they could sit together to eat it. “So,” she finally started, “all that stuff was yours?”
Chad blushed. He knew instantly what stuff she was talking about. “Yeah,” he answered shyly.
“Is that why you’re getting divorced?”
Once again, Chad was uncomfortable about the question, but all he could say was, “Yeah.”
“So you’re into all that kind of thing then - I mean the women’s clothes and things?”
“Yeah.” Chad wasn’t at all comfortable talking about it. He really wished she would just drop it.
“How about the diapers and bottles I saw? Those too?”
This time, Chad just nodded his head sheepishly. Then to change the subject he said, “Come on, let’s get out of here. Ok?”

When they got back home, Mel invited Chad over to her place where they could at least sit down together. But she had Chad bring over the rest of the first six-pack with him. Chad went, mostly because he had no furniture of his own.
Two beers later, Mel once again got back to the subject that seemed to haunt her. In truth, she couldn’t quite grasp it all and was consequently overly curious about it. “So tell me about it?” she finally asked.
“About what?”
“You know, the stuff I saw.”
“Ugh. I’d rather not.”
“Come on. I’m the pushy type – if you haven’t figured that out by now. I’m going to keep pestering you till I find out anyway.”
Why did she have to make it sound like he didn’t have any choice in the matter? He took another big swig of his beer to think. He was definitely buzzed. “Geez! What do you want to know? I like it. Ok? It’s complicated, damn it!”
“Ok, ok. You don’t have to swear. I’m just asking that’s all.”
“Yeah, sorry. Look it’s not something I’m used to talking about you know.”
“Yeah, I’m sorry too.” She waited a few minutes while they both sipped at their beers. “And the baby stuff?”
At least he was calm about it this time. “Yeah, I like that too.”
“So… do you wear the diapers and wet them too?”
“Yeah, sometimes.”
“Tell me about it.”
Maybe it was the beer, or maybe she was just wearing him down. He took another big swig and laughed a bit to himself. “What can I say? It’s another little quirk of mine.” Then he seemed to reflect on his beer bottle for a moment before he continued. “I have this… friend… on-line, who whenever my wife was away for a while, would give me some… let’s say “assignments” involving the diapers and dressing and stuff. They were fun. Exciting.” He paused for a minute. “I have this crazy fantasy where I’m forced to wear the diapers so much that I actually become incontinent from it – like a baby. In fact,” he blushed again, “the whole baby thing gets me off too. The last time it went on for almost a month. It was great.”
Mel waited for him to continue. When he didn’t she asked, “So, did you actually become incontinent?”
“No, not even close. I did almost wet the bed one night afterward, but that’s as close as it got. It couldn’t really happen though. It’s just a dream.”
“Well, it was only a month.”
“I don’t think it matters how much time. It’s like I have this switch in me that turns it on and off.”
It was probably the beer that made her say it. “I could make you do it. If I wanted to, I could make you incontinent – just like a baby.”
He looked over at her like she was crazy and laughed a bit. “No, it’s impossible. I know myself too well. Besides, it would probably take someone who was here with me all the time to ride me unmercifully – and do it for months and months on end. Even then, I seriously doubt it could happen.”
Now it was her turn to laugh. It was definitely the beer talking… or was it? “You don’t know me very well. I could do it! If I wanted to, I could make you do anything I want, and there’s nothing you’d be able to do about it. I could turn you into such a baby that you’d never be able to go without your diapers again. You’d be sucking your thumb and crying for you bottle all the time.”
They both laughed at the thought. After all, she was only joking, wasn’t she?
“Couldn’t happen!” Chad reiterated. “I know myself too well.”
“Yes it could!” she declared in no uncertain terms. They were both still laughing.
“No it can’t!” he replied, just as certain.
“Is that a challenge?” she asked.
“Maybe it is,” he replied.
“I could do it!” she stated
“Never happen! Not in a million years!”
“Oh, I don’t know. I don’t think it would take all that long.”
“You don’t? How long then?”
“You said you almost wet the bed after one month?”
“Almost, but that’s all! I didn’t actually wet it.”
“Then I could probably do it in… oh, I don’t know… say… two months.”
He laughed again. “Never. It’s impossible. Like I said, I know myself too well.”
“Bet I could!”
“Impossible! No you can’t”
“Bet I could!”
“It can’t be done!”
“Bet… I… could!”
“No… way!”
“What do you bet?”
“Bet? I don’t know. It can’t be done.”
It was like she was locked in the heat of battle and things had just become serious. She looked around. What would she bet over it? “Tell you what, if I can’t do it, I’ll furnish your entire apartment with everything and anything you like!”
“Anything? All the furniture?”
“Anything!”
Chad was stunned by the offer. It was a lot. “That would be awfully expensive.”
“It’s ok. I’m a lawyer. I can afford it.”
That stopped Chad for a moment. “I can’t match that. I’m getting divorced. I don’t have that much.”
Mel thought for a minute. “Ok then, how about this, if I do manage to do it… and I have no doubt that I will…”
“Ha!”
“Then you’ll furnish and decorate your own apartment however I want you to. And… you’ll continue in service to me for an entire year – doing anything I tell you to. Agreed?”
“That’s crazy! You know of course that you’re just offering to buy me all new furniture. And I have expensive tastes.”
“No I’m not. I’m getting myself a personal servant for the next year, and one who won’t even need bathroom breaks!” She laughed again at the thought.
“That’s crazy. It can’t happen!”
“Bet it can!”
“No it can’t!”
“Bet?”
“Bet!”
They both leaned back on her couch and laughed while they each finished their beer. They were both joking, weren’t they? At least they were both just wondering that. But it could have been interesting.
After things had calmed down a bit, Mel said, “Tomorrow I’ll draft a contract for you to sign.”
Chad laughed again. “Sure!” Then he had another thought, since they were still playing. “What am I supposed to do for furniture in the meantime?”
They both laughed at that. “I’ll think of something,” Mel replied. “Trust me!”

The Future

Hi Everyone,

I know I haven’t added anything here, even though I finally have internet service now, but the truth is, I really didn’t know what to write. I’ve wanted to write something, but I’ve just been at a total loss.

So, first of all, a huge thank you to all who have sent me comments asking how our care-giving situation with my in-laws is going. Your thoughts and wishes mean a lot to me – believe me.

As to that situation, it’s not exactly started yet. They are still in Louisiana and my mother in-law is coming up with excuse after excuse why she doesn’t want to come here permanently yet. In the meantime, my father in-law is going downhill fast. He has been permanently banned from riding his lawn mower anymore because he can’t get off of it and just drives around in circles till someone lifts him off of it. They have to do all their shopping together since he can’t be left alone – ever. But at the same time he can just barely make it into the front door of someplace, where he has to find a seat to sit and wait till she does all the shopping. He sits and watches TV all day long now without even realizing what is on. He picks up the same pamphlet to read three of four times a day – thinking he hasn’t read it yet. He’s been wearing depends for a while now but now he’s also starting to mess himself quite a bit without realizing he’s done it. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg for him. My mother in-law is having stress attack after stress attack that keeps sending her to bed from trying to deal with him alone – when she gets stressed in any way, she’s starting to get very nasty. Not fun.

In the meantime, my wife is going nuts!!! And consequently, driving me nuts. She wants badly to install an elevator in our house so they can have the entire second floor for themselves (neither of them can negotiate stairs anymore). But I can’t afford an elevator. She would also like for me to add a huge addition onto the house. I can’t afford that either. So we’re turning our formal parlor into a bedroom for them. I can’t afford even that, but we’re doing it. My wife wants everything ready for them when they finally say we can go get them. And since that time could be any day now, she’s driving me crazy to get it all done – along with buying furniture and decorating!

My wife doesn’t want to go to stay in Louisiana because her home is here, but at the same time, she can’t stand them being so far away. In my personal opinion, I think my father in-law needs his doctors around him more than ever right now. One doctor said he needs to be in a nursing home, but my wife has flatly declared that it won’t happen. She wants to take care of him. I envy my wife’s dedication – and don’t forget, she’s not without her own problems too. She has arthritis – bad!

So life is a big bowl of cherries.

But, at least we have internet now.

I’m kind of thinking of starting to post parts of the story I’m writing now in this blog when I have nothing better to write – which may be most of the time. I know, I know… I haven’t finished the last story I started to write here, and I may not finish this one either. But I’m loving this story a lot. I’m several hundred pages into it, and I’ve just barely started. So in reality, it’s really a total book – and a long one. But oh… so much fun!

So to all of you out there in Never-Never land -
Count your blessings and smile.

It's Alive!

Hooray! I have internet connection again! For the last month my old internet connection was almost completely gone. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve tried to pull up a web page or download our family email and got the old “connection interrupted” message. For the last few weeks it’s been so bad that I really haven’t been able to get to the internet at all.

So yesterday, there was a tech at our house installing satellite internet. It only took him a full nine hours to install (I’m not kidding or exaggerating – nine hours). And this morning – for the first time in a long time – I’m back!

I wish I had more interesting news for you, but right now that’s the extent of my excitement. There’s a lot of blogs out there that I’m way behind on and I’m going to have to do my best to catch up with over the next few days. It’s surprising how “out of touch” I’ve felt.

To fill my lack of internet stimulation, I’ve been writing. And I’m going to keep writing – why? Because I love it. Unfortunately, what I’m writing is far too lengthy to put into this blog – even though the subject matter is right smack on. Maybe, if I ever finish it, I’ll find some way to make it available. But it’s going to take a very long time to finish.

So anyway, I’ve missed you all. But I’m finally back!

I’m celebrating today. Why don’t you find a way to celebrate something too.

Where Am I?

It's been a while since I've been able to post. Sorry about that.

My internet connection at home continues to be somewhere between very bad and non-existant. I'm now actively working on getting myself satellite internet service instead, but I'm afraid it's going to take a while to get.

In the mean time, there are a few blogs and websites that I like to visit every day that I either can't get to, or if I want to add comments, I don't have enough internet power to do it. Those sites I don't dare access from work.

As to my last adventure - as you've probably guessed, I'm still missing it. I really missed it the most the entire first week afterwards. It was like a drug that I could no longer get. After all the time I spent in diapers, I didn't really have any trouble at all going without them again. I think it's like a switch in my body that get's thrown one way or another. Although... I did almost wet the bed in the middle of the first week back. I think that's the closest I ever came to that problem that I can remember. Fortunatly, I woke up just in time and realized what I had almost done!

My in-laws are still visiting and we are planning to take them back home again next week, but I know it won't be long till they're living with us permanently. They really can't be by themselves anymore - especially my father-in-law. He can hardly walk and won't hear of using a wheelchair. He can't hear very well, and he just get's so confused and forgets things so often. All he can do is sit and watch TV or sit and watch the birds in our backyard. Unfortunately, the weather has been incredibly hot and being outside where he really likes it the best is not a good idea. He absolutely can not be left alone at all at any time - which makes everything all the more difficult. At home they have trouble just getting groceries because of him.

Anyway. I just wanted to let everybody know that I'm still here. It's just difficult without internet service.

Sensations and Overload

Hi all. Well, yesterday was another pretty good day for me. Although I’ve got to admit, I think I was definitely getting very tired of all the baby stuff after a while. But it was still a great day.

I watched three more Barbie videos yesterday and right from the start, I was struck by the sheer femininity of them. After watching enough of them, it’s kind of like being brainwashed. I found myself walking around with my hands in a certain way and holding the lower part of my arms out a bit, as if I were wearing much fuller skirts than I was. Lovely, absolutely lovely. Let’s see, I started with Rapunzel, then Swan Lake, and finished with the Diamond Castle. Oh, and I’m not really ashamed to admit it here, but I cried during all of them. Am I becoming a softie or what?

I had a blended up banana and some milk for breakfast again yesterday, but I really didn’t know what I wanted for lunch, so I wound up eating two more jars of the baby food and nothing else: Sweet potatoes & Turkey and Apples & Chicken. I still think it tastes better than what I’m making. A bit too sweet perhaps, but better. For dinner last night I took another TV dinner – Country Fried Steak with a mix of vegetables and put that into the blender – Yuck! I think I’m more than ready for some regular food now. Definitely! In fact, I’m very much looking forward to it.

I did a bit of cleaning in the house yesterday. I had bought a cheap sponge mop on Friday to do the tile floors with since I don’t really like the mop my wife uses. But I had bought a really cheap one (I was only going to use it once). I got done with one bathroom and was about to start on the second one when the darn thing fell apart. I spent the rest of the day trying to convince myself that I really could go out to the store and get another one – even with just my nail polish showing. But in the end, I just couldn’t do it. Failure. I’m afraid I’m just not that brave yet. Oh, my nail polish is a very glittery pink. I love it to death! I’m going to have fits removing it for work in a little while.

I’m afraid all the baby stuff was beginning to tire on me yesterday. I got really tired of keeping my teddy bear with me all the time. I got tired of not using any of the furniture (my dog didn’t mind though), I actually got tired of drinking everything from a baby bottle, and I got tired of eating only baby food. I guess I had had enough, but wow, did I still feel juvenile all day. Almost like a bit of punishment.

Late in the afternoon, I had an email from Mistress Gina who instructed me to put clothes pins on my nipples and two on my ball sac and then edge. And then do it all again an hour later. Let me tell you, the best part of that for me was really getting to get out of my heavy sopping wet diaper a bit earlier since I still had two hours to go before I was scheduled to get changed. The clothes pins hurt of course, especially on my nipples.
But my biggest problem is that little chastity device I’m wearing. I have the nylon pulled so tight that I can’t really get hard at all. But still, you don’t know how great it felt to be able to touch myself like that. Wonderful! I was trembling in my backside over it. But I couldn’t get hard, and to be honest, I’m not sure my thingy down there was even trying to get hard (oddly). I had to work at it for almost fifteen minutes to get myself to the edge, and even then I’m not sure how far I really was. Because of the chastity device, I couldn’t get at that one really sensitive spot that I have, and I was thinking about giving up a few times, but I didn’t – well, it felt great to touch myself. Eventually though, I had a bunch of (what I hope was) cum running out of my chastity device and into the baby bottle or the bowl I had under it. I really hope it was cum that was dripping and not pee. Anyway, removing the clothes pins turned out to be the real pain of wearing them –especially from my nipples. They feel so sore afterwards.

Then of course I had to do it all again and hour later – as if I really minded. I had only rediapered myself with a single diaper to make everything easier. That part was, but not the edging. I worked and worked at myself, and in the end, I barely got anything to drip out at all. So frustrating. But then I guess that’s the point of edging. Putting the clothes pins on my nipples is bad enough and the pain kind of settles down to a background roar, but I definitely don’t like removing them from my nipples – they hurt.

Mistress Gina sent me one more set of instructions for the evening: Three coats of mascara before bed and to see if my wife had any hair curlers and put them in my hair. The mascara of course was no problem (although my eyes feel a bit irritated right now). I did find some of my wife’s hair curlers, but the only ones she has are super big. I managed to get four of them into my hair (sort of). I haven’t had a haircut in quite a while now and I really need one, but these curlers are still way too big for the hair that I have. I got them on, but when I tried to lay down, they pretty much fell off almost right away. Now I’ve been sleeping in thick heavy diapers every night and I’ve kind of gotten very used to that. Then Mistress Gina added the bra and water balloons and that’s (sort of) become ok too. Then she had me change the sheet on my bed for a plastic one (a good idea considering how much I’ve been peeing this weekend). I’ve gotten used to the plastic sheet too – noisy and I kind of stick to it after a while. The end result is that amazingly, I’m still sleeping well. Since the hair curlers wouldn’t stay in, they turned out to be no problem, but I have to wonder, will she make me get smaller ones that will stay in? That could be a much bigger problem.

Well, as usual about now, I’m wondering what the day will bring me. I know it’s going to be very busy at work since one of my co-workers is off for the week and I’ll have to handle her job as well as mine. But I also know that it’s going to be filled with wonderful thoughts of feminine (and probably humiliating) things too.

What would you like your day to bring you?

The Adventure Continues

My wife will be away for another week so I’ll be continuing to play. Last night I spent most of the evening driving everywhere searching for an enema kit that Mistress Gina had directed. I wasn’t able to find any – but I got a lot of strange looks from every pharmacist that I asked.

I had no time to do anything else yesterday, but today… well that’s another matter.

Be happy everyone,
Karen

Just When It Was Getting Gook

Well, I guess things are mostly over. I got a call from my wife yesterday morning and I’ll be going to pick her up on Saturday – and – I’ll be bringing my in-laws back too for an “extended” vacation. It’s really in preparation for them living here full time.

I was in the process of doing my nails last night after I got home from work when the phone rang again. I had to go out to help with my grandkids. One of them had been a smart-aleck and had ended up accidently putting his hand through a glass window. He’s okay, but the hospital had to pull some tiny fragments out of his skin and he’s going to be hurting for quite a while. So against all my desires, life had intruded once again.

I have a lot of things – mostly cleaning – that I have to do before I get my wife. So when I got home last night I sent an email off to Mistress Gina telling her that I can’t play any more this adventure. Right now, I’m sitting here in my very wet diapers, bra with balloons, heels, and nightgown – and wishing with all my heart that it could continue for much, much longer. But that’s the way it goes. I’m grateful for everything I can get. But with each passing adventure, I find myself wanting it all that much more.

I have no doubt that when I get home tonight, I’ll once again be back in a dress while I start cleaning. Hopefully, I can do some more pictures then too. I had the best of intentions to do that last night – plus an adventure assigned by Mistress Gina, but things just didn’t work out.

So please, stay happy everyone.
Karen
