Chapter 32 Part 1 of 3

“You won’t hurt her, will you?”
“Why Mr. Brinkley, whatever do you mean?” Janice asked.
“Jennifer,” he explained.  “You won’t hurt her, will you?”  He had just spent the last few minutes telling Janice about how Jennifer had hounded him until he finally told her that he was becoming a woman.  The only part that Janice had really seemed to be concerned over though, was what he had told Jennifer about why he was doing it… Why he had to become a woman.  The fact that he couldn’t tell her anything at all about that had seemed to ease Janice’s concerns.
“Mr. Brinkley,” Janice said, “as I’m sure you’re well aware of by now, I’m a very great advocate of women.  Miss White seems to be a beautiful young woman who genuinely cares about you.”  She smiled just a bit.  “I probably shouldn’t mention this, but she still harbors strong affectionate feelings for you.”
Roger grunted.  “She has a funny way of showing it.”
“Perhaps,” Janice replied.  “She did tell me though that she had to break off your relationship… for personal reasons, as she put it.  So just as you are unable to tell her the real reasons behind you becoming a woman, it appears that she is keeping her reasons for leaving you, to herself as well.  I’m afraid that you’re just going to have to settle yourself with that and take it as it is.”
“It doesn’t help,” Roger complained.
“I’m sure it doesn’t.  But does it help her, that you can’t fully explain why you are becoming a woman?”
Roger shook his head.  “I guess not.”
Janice nodded.  “Good!”  She looked at him standing in front of her.  He looked sad and concerned.  Defeated.  And he had good reason to be.  “Mr. Brinkley, I’m not foolish enough to think that you can succeed in this little venture entirely on your own.  You’re going to need help.  A lot of help I’m sure.  There are friends at church that I’m hoping you will take advantage of.  I have no doubt that you can learn a lot from several of them.  And if your Miss White is willing to aid you toward this goal as well, then I have absolutely no problem with that… just so long as she never finds out the true reason behind your transformation.  I’m afraid that she came as somewhat of a surprise to me,” Janice admitted.  “I never foresaw the interest she seems to be showing toward this.”
“It’s coming as something of a worry for me!” Roger interjected.
“Why is that?”
“Because… I was worried about what you might do to her if she gets too close!”
“Mr. Brinkley, as I said, I’m a great advocate of women.  I would go out of my way to not involve or hurt another woman in any way at all… unless it was absolutely necessary.”
That last part worried Roger.  He also noted that she had said nothing at all about men in her statement.
“So you don’t mind that she knows?”
“You becoming Candy, has to get out to the world sooner or later.  It’s inevitable.  And perhaps she can help you more than you think.  I have no doubt that she could be quite helpful to you on that little shopping trip you two have planned.”
Roger nodded.  “It scares me to death though.”
“Why is that?”
“It’s just… going to be embarrassing!  And I guess because… I still like her so much.”  He tried to look at Janice a bit more boldly.  “Is there any way you can remove this curse from me?”
“Curse, Mr. Brinkley?”
“Where my stupid cock turns to ice every time I look at her!”
Janice nearly laughed.  “Every time you look at her?  It seems you do still harbor a lot of feelings for her as well!  I’m sorry Mr. Brinkley, but that… curse as you called it, will remain.  Think of it this way… as you become a woman, whatever would you do with her anyway with that silly thing between your legs?  No, I’m afraid you’re going to have to get used to dealing with women on a much different level now than you ever have before.  And perhaps this… curse, as you called it, may be a great of help toward that.”
Then she did let out a bit of a laugh.  “I’m afraid Mr. Brinkley, that I’m actually finding your situation with Miss White to be quite funny.  You love her… and she loves you too.  Or as least she cares for you a great deal.  And the very woman you love, and who loves you, will now be aiding in turning you into something she can’t love.  She will be helping to turn you into a beautiful, sexy woman… just as she is.  She will be aiding in the process of ridding you of any possibility of having a sexual relationship with her at all… despite the fact that right now, I’m quite sure that that’s all you really want from her.”
Roger… didn’t find anything funny about the situation at all!  He didn’t care if the scowl on his face over it bothered Janice one bit… which he could see that it didn’t.
“Time to get ready for bed now, Mr. Brinkley.  I’m afraid it’s the cage for you again tonight since you were unable to spend any time at all toward your future goal.  Crawl into your cage, and I’ll be in in a few minutes to put the lock on it myself.”
Roger wanted to scream!  There was just no winning!  Defeated, he turned away.
“Mr. Brinkley!” Janice called, turning him around again.  “I’m going to be away tomorrow afternoon and evening again on business.  Most likely, I will be away at those hours for most of the week.  Just so you know, I will be leaving Carol in charge of you again.  If you wish, you may go shopping with your Miss White… without Carol being present.  Hopefully, I should be home before you go to bed each evening, but in the case that I’m not, it will be Carol who decides where and how you sleep.  Understood?”
All Roger’s mind could picture though, was how cruel Carol liked to be.  He nodded that he understood.  The cage again tonight.  And if Carol had any say in the matter, he was sure she would lock him into it every night – no matter what he did toward becoming Candy!

“He’s what?” Stan exclaimed.
“He says he’s going to become a woman.  Surgery and all!” Jennifer replied through her phone.
“What the hell is going on with him now?”
“I think it’s the same thing that’s been going on with him all along.”
“I just don’t see it!” Stan replied.  “I simply can’t believe it!”
“You can imagine how surprised I was… still am for that matter.  I was nearly engaged to him!”
“You were?”
“Don’t go there!” Jennifer warned.
“Shit!  Why the hell would he want to do a stupid think like that?”
“I don’t know.  He still won’t really tell me anything at all!”
“But at least you got that far with him,” Stan noted.  “It’s a lot more than I’ve been able to pry out of him.”
“We’re going shopping together after dinner tomorrow night.”
“Shopping?”
“For clothes!” Jennifer added.  “Get this… he needs a new dress for church.  Claims he wore the one he has now – to church – twice already!”
“Geeezusss...” Stan swore.  “I still can’t believe it!”
“Well, I’m going to try to get something more out of him tomorrow.  If he claims he wants to be a woman so badly, then maybe I’ll push him a bit.  See just how much he likes shopping for feminine things.  Maybe we’ll see then if he’s serious about this or not.”
“Good!” Stan replied… then he thought better of the idea.  “Jennifer…”
“Yeah?”
“Are you having dinner with him too tomorrow?  Or just shopping?”
“Good night Stan!”

Janice had a lot to do.  She had to be in Augusta tonight to observe Joseph Halifax again.  But before she could do that, she had planning that still needed to be done, arrangements to make, money that had to be spent, and of course, the laundry that still had to be taken care of.  But she wasn’t tackling any of the items on her list at all.  Instead, she was walking around the side of the house heading for Roger’s workshop… where he kept his tools.
As usual, the door to the workshop was unlocked.  She didn’t understand how Roger could be so trusting about his tools.  She went inside and found the switch to turn the light on.  The item she was looking for was lying on top of a pile of boards across from his workbench.  She picked it up.
The back brace he had worn while working on the fallen tree was even wider in the back than it was in the front.  To her, the thing almost resembled a short form of an old-fashioned corset.  She was surprised to note how rigid the thing appeared to be and upon further examination, discovered that the thing had what felt like very rigid boning going all the way around.  As far as she could tell, the thing actually was… a corset!
Setting the thing back where she had found it, she went back into the house.  She had planning still to do… arrangements that still had to be made… money that would have to be spent… and that still didn’t include the laundry that was still waiting for her to do.  And of course, none of that included the corset she was going to order for Roger – before she did anything else!

Stan wasn’t sure if he wanted to set his lunch tray down in front of Roger or not.  What he really wanted to do was to yell at him and beat some sense into him for the dumb-ass ideas that were suddenly screwing up his head.  Not to mention that he suddenly wasn’t all that sure he wanted to be anywhere near Roger anymore.  But a friend was a friend.  And he was still convinced that there was something major wrong with Roger’s life… beyond this idiotic idea that he wanted to become a woman.  That was just plain stupid!  So against his better judgment, he plopped his tray down on the table in front of Roger… and sat down.  And all he got from Roger for it was a brief look of annoyance… before Roger buried his head in his lunch and refused to look at him.
He wanted to confront Roger about this idea of his to become a woman, but Jennifer had told him about that on the phone last night in confidence.  So he held his tongue… for now.
“Move!”  Jennifer said from behind his shoulder.
“Say what?” Stan replied… surprised to even see her there.
“I said move.  Go sit somewhere else.”
“Why?  I just sat down!”
“Tough, now move!”
“What for?”
“Because Roger and I have things to discuss that I’m fairly sure you won’t be interested in.  So move.”
“Who says I’m not interested?  You know perfectly well that I’ll do anything to help him.”
Jennifer just shrugged a bit.  “I guess you can stay if you want.  In fact, it should be interesting to find out exactly how you feel about the latest spring fashions that are out in the stores now?”
“The what?”
“Do you, or do you not want to sit here and discuss dress styles with us?”
Stan looked at her like she was crazy… which he was fairly sure she was.  But he quickly picked up his tray and walked away.  Jennifer happily set her tray down where his had been.  “That was easy,” she said as she took his seat.  She saw Roger looking at her with a shocked expression on his face.  Was he frightened too?  She actually hoped so.  She leaned forward a bit toward him and giggled.  “Girl talk time!”
Roger’s lunch nearly came up.
“So what are you wearing tonight?” Jennifer asked as she picked up her fork.
“What do you mean?”
“What are you wearing?  It’s a simple question.  What clothes are you going to wear to go shopping in?”
“Oh.  I don’t know.  Probably just what I’ve got on.  Maybe without the tie and jacket though.”
Jennifer looked at him like he was crazy.  “Roger, how are you going to try on dresses if you don’t have any… breasts to see how well they fit?”
Try on dresses?  “Uh… I guess I’ll be wearing a bra too,” he replied.  Actually, thanks to Janice, that much was a certainty.  He noticed at least that Jennifer looked a lot more satisfied.
“So you’re not going all out tonight?” she asked.
“All out?”
Jennifer just looked at him for a moment.  “Do I have to repeat everything twice?  Get with it!  You’re not dressing totally as a woman tonight… to go shopping for women’s clothes?”
“Uh… I hadn’t planned on it,” Roger replied.
“Okay, at least we’ve gotten that far.  Why not?”
“Uh… because it’s embarrassing?”
“And you think trying on dresses, while dressed as a man, won’t be?”
“Uh… I have no doubt it will.”
“Suit yourself,” Jennifer said nonchalantly before she stuffed a forkful of lettuce into her mouth.
Roger couldn’t eat.  He just sat there and stared at Jennifer for a few moments while she ate.  He noticed his cock was becoming cold again, but he did his best to ignore it.  That was certainly a no-win situation!  Despite the subject, he felt like he should say something else.  “Um… one of the main reasons I need to go shopping,” he started, “is because I need more things to wear.  All I really have is that one outfit I’ve worn to church, and that’s it.”
“Outfit?” Jennifer asked, seizing on the word.
“Yeah.  I only have one dress.”
“You said outfit.  What do you wear with it?”
“Nothing, really.”
“You mean you go to church wearing just the dress… and otherwise you’re naked?” she kidded.
“Noooo!  I wear underwear and shoes… and a bra of course!”
“Are the shoes you wear the same boots you wear everywhere else?”
“Huh?  Uh… no.  I have another pair.”
“Well what are they like for heaven’s sake!  Describe them to me.  You can’t want to be a woman without being interested in details like that!”
“Uh… okay,” Roger replied somewhat uncertainly.  “Um… they’re black, and they have this strap that I have to buckle across my ankle.  And the heels on them are pure hell!”
Jennifer laughed.  “They sound divine!  So why aren’t you going to wear them tonight?”
“Um… because they won’t go with the rest of what I’m wearing?”
Jennifer giggled.  “I guess not.  So… does your dress have pockets, or do you have to hold everything in your hands?”
Ugh!  Roger just knew he was going to be in for a very, very difficult evening.
